Introducing 2023 Eclipse Award Honoree Juliet Daniel

One of our two remarkable YOUTH category recipients this year, Juliet Daniel is a dedicated advocate for justice and equality with a proven track record of creating positive change. In high school, she successfully led efforts to ban the Confederate flag at OCHS and was a teaching assistant in African American History where she promoted discussions on racism and bias and received certification in Anti-Racism & Bias Peer Training. Juliet co-founded and led Youth First, addressing racism and homophobia, and played a key role in challenging discriminatory resolutions by the Orange County School Board.


Alongside her activism, Juliet excelled academically, holding leadership roles in DECA, African American Club, and the Orange County Youth Council. She consistently achieved honor roll status and received Dean's list recognition at Germanna and SCAD since 2019. Juliet is certified in Personal Finance, Workplace Readiness, and Adobe.


Currently pursuing a degree in Advertising and Branding with a minor in Sneaker Design at The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Juliet continues her journey as a dedicated advocate and scholar.
